Welcome to Berkheimer's online filing website. To ensure privacy and confidentiality your data and any other information that is transmitted to us is sent via an encrypted connection. In order to file electronically you will need to create a login account. Please note: even if you are filing returns for multiple entities, you only need one login account.

There are two methods you can use to file online:

File Upload*: Upload your quarterly or monthly Earned Income Tax (EIT) return, quarterly Local Services Tax (LST) return, or yearly W2 Reconciliation (W2Rec). Use your own third-party software (such as Excel or a custom program) to create a file containing the necessary tax information, then upload the file to us on this site. File format requirements can be found by clicking the links under "File Formats" at the bottom right of this page. To use this method, log in and choose the option labeled "File Upload Tax Services".

Data Entry*: File your quarterly Earned Income Tax (EIT) return, and/or quarterly Local Services Tax (LST) return by entering your employee tax data into a form on our website. You will need your H.A. Berkheimer account number, Federal Tax ID number (EIN), and PSD code in order to file. To use this method, log in and choose the option labeled "Data Entry Tax Services".

NEW in 2017!! Combined EIT and LST Data Entry: If you are required to file both EIT and LST returns with us, you can now file your quarterly EIT and LST returns simultaneously using the Data Entry method. After logging in, go to the "Data Entry Tax Services" page, start a new return, validate your employer data, and then choose the "Combined EIT and LST" option. **.

* If you are required to file EIT on a monthly basis, you must use the File Upload method to file your EIT return.

** Only eligible employers will see the “Combined EIT and LST” Data Entry option.

Electronic filers will receive email reminders in lieu of paper forms for future returns. Reminders will be sent to the email address used when logging in. Please note that you may not be able to access our e-file website on Sundays from 12:00am - 6:00am (EST) due to system maintenance.
In addition, EIT data entry and certain other features may be unavailable between Friday 11:00 PM and Saturday 12:15 AM (EST).

Our Berk-e site has been optimized for desktop users. Although it may work with iPads and other tablets, we cannot guarantee complete functionality for tablet users.
Supported browsers include Internet Explorer (version 11.x or higher), Mozilla Firefox (version 27.x or higher), Safari (version 7.x or higher) and Google Chrome (version 22.x or higher). If you experience problems with any supported browser, please contact us.

*** Please note: If you file your return online you will be required to pay online via an electronic debit from your checking or savings account. There is no additional cost for paying online. ***
